Hunting Island State Park SC
Was anyone on Hunting Island during Hannah Storm? My husband are getting ready to head for our vacation Sept.20th, just wondering if any damage there. We have waited all summer for our vacation really looking forward to it.

RE: Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina - Good Sites?
My husband and I are going down this year for the first time. We wanted more privacy so we picked site 97. I was told it was more woods around. We are heading down the last week of September had our site booked in May. I hope you have a great time! When are you going? We are really looking forward to it. We are saving our pennies I guess I should say dollars:B even if gas prices are high.

information on gas mileage
I was wondering if someone can help us with pulling a travel trailer. We are just starting out camping again. We are traveling with a F-150 pulling a 21' amerilite trailer. We are working on our budget to travel from Ohio to Hunting Island State Park in South Carolina. We were wondering if anybody could give us the miles per gallon it took. I believe it is about 700 miles one way.

Two dogs traveling need advice please
We are traveling with two Bassett hounds and they are not use to traveling, I was wondering if any of you know of something we can give them for anxiety that is over the counter. I know the vet has one but they are so expensive. we will be in the car for about 8-12 hour from Ohio to South Carolina hunting beach state park.

My husband and I are going to be camping at Hunting Island in late September we have heard wonderful things about the place really looking forward to go just hope the hurricanes stay away then. has anybody been there in the September to October months?

Thank you for the information, we are very excited to visit your area even though we are about4 months away. That is neat about the dolphins I think I like that better then going out on a boat to see them. Are you fimiliar about Hunting Island?

Does anybody have advice on what tour to take for whale or dolphin watching in the Beuafort area of South Carolina. We are taking a cmping trip to Hunting Island State park in Sept of 2008.

My husband and I are traveling from Ohio to South carolina Hunting Beach State Park in September this year. Could anyone suggest a good campground off 77 to stay in at North Carolina on our way down to South Carolina? We would likre to stay close to the interstate so when we go to get back on.:)
